Visiting the gardens in fall gives you the opportunity to see the beautiful red spider lily and swamp sunflower in bloom.
The zoo in the gardens is also worth visiting as it showcases some of the native animals such as alligators, eagles, hawks, river otters, and white-tailed deer. Some of these animals have been displaced by the growing human population in their natural habitat so it’s important so support this local zoo.
